One secret to successful home learning? Limit nagging. One way to do this is by giving our kids a sense of control over aspects of their day. But while we would like to see them learn Math, spend time writing and make their bed, they would like to zone out on a device and stay in their pajamas all day.
The solution? Labeled popsicle sticks. Give each child a bunch of labeled sticks, or have them label them (with your input, or course!). Each stick represents a chunk of time in the day and a "subject" or task you would like your child to work on. As they complete each job, they can put their stick into a jar or cup.
