Motivating your kids to learn at home: Tip #1 - create an ongoing display

All elementary teachers know this secret: kids love seeing their schoolwork displayed.

When their art or writing is chosen for display, it tells kids that their effort is valued and their work is meaningful. Homeschooling families typically require A LOT of space to accommodate the sheer volume of their kids' daily tasks, so no more cluttered refrigerator doors! Instead, designate a wall near where your kids are completing their art and writing tasks and create an ongoing "exhibit" of their hard work. Sticky tack or masking tape loops work best for this. Consider taking the work down once every few weeks to make room for new accomplishments.
